1. Include your friend’s profile names in your posts on Facebook
The more your name, and your friend’s names, appear in Facebook posts, the more points you earn on sites like Klout and Kred. To include a name in your post, type the name of any one of your friends into the post field. It can be a little tricky, but if you do it just right (use their name exactly as it appears in Facebook and pause for moment after typing each letter), a drop-down list appears with their name (and anyone else with a similar name).
Select your friend’s name from the list and two things happen — they get notified that you mentioned them (if they haven’t turned off the notification in their own Facebook settings), and they get extra credit on Klout for being mentioned by name.
2. Use bit.ly to shorten URLs.
Not only does shortening a long URL make your post fit better on Twitter, it makes your posts look less busy on Facebook and Google+.
And, if you take the extra time to set up a free account with bit.ly, you can track all of the URLs you post to see how many people click on them –a great way to measure what’s getting the most interest in your posts. https://bitly.com/
