Image galleries and drop-down menus are common features of modern websites, but the latest version Dreamweaver, Adobe Dreamweaver CC, won’t help you to create either of these common elements (unless you can write the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code yourself.)
To fill the gap and help web designers get the features they desire, a number of companies now create Dreamweaver extensions that, you guessed it, extend the options in Dreamweaver, adding new panels, menu items, and more.
Here’s how to add slideshows, drop-down menus, & other interactive features using Dreamweaver CC
- Project Seven: Sells Dreamweaver templates and extensions, including Image Gallery Magic 2, Image Rotator Magic, and Pop Menu Magic 3, which you can use to create advanced drop-down menus in Dreamweaver pages.
- Extend Studio: Sells Dreamweaver templates and extensions, including the jQuery PowerSlider, jQuery XPOSE Gallery, and jQuery Slideshow Plus.
- WebAssist: Sells Web Apps and Dreamweaver extensions, including an advanced shopping cart called eCart, and the sophisticated Design Extender for creating complex layouts.
- DMX Zone: Sells Dreamweaver templates and extensions, including the Sliding PayPal Shopping Cart, and the DMX Zone Nivo Slider.
