I gotcha where I want ya

I'd hate to be the animal in the tree that caught the attention of this lion. The menacing look on his face would be enough to freeze most creatures in their tracks. Although I took this photo at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, I never did get a good look at what was in the tree.

For all their ferociousness, lions are very social animals that generally prefer to live in groups, or prides, of 15 or more. Lion prides can be as small as 3 animals or as big as 40.
